HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Jan. 1st, 2018 10:39 amIt's 2018! 2017 went by so quickly! 2017 Had a lot of ups and downs around the world, but if there's one thing I remember from the last year, it was me falling into the JE fandom. 2017 is the year where I fell in love with Arashi, NEWS & KAT-TUN.
I spent Christmas with my relatives this year, which was a lot of fun. We haven't had a big Christmas party for a while. My cousins were adorable, especially my 1yo cousin and my nephew. One of my cousins from my other side came to stay with us for a few days as well.
I livestreamed Kouhaku and Johnny's Countdown last night. Super happy that the white team won! And then JCD... KAT-TUN IS COMING BACK! SO EXCITED HEHEHE. I had a feeling that KT was the big announcement that was hinted at, and I was super happy that my prediction was correct. And they debuted a new song for Kame's drama! It was super late here when it was airing in Japan, so I was pretty much fangirling at around 2am. Since Arashi (minus Nino) was coming from NHK after Kouhaku, I was hoping to see them wearing Nino jackets. When they arrived, well I didn't get Nino jackets, but their costumes made them look like princes and halfway into their performance... EVERYONE HAD NINO MASKS. It was so good, and there was a cute photo of Nino on the display screen. I can't believe they got all the people on stage with them to wear Nino cutout masks as well hehehe.
I currently have two movies I want to watch - The Greatest Showman, and Coco. I couple months back I heard Zac Efron & Zendaya's duet "Rewrite the Stars" and I loved it. I hadn't really been paying too much attention to movie releases/upcoming movies, so I looked up the Greatest Showman, and now I really want to see it. I think I'm seeing it sometime this weekend.
The Winter Olympics is this year! I'm praying for Yuzuru Hanyu to be completely recovered and at the top of his game by the time Worlds and the Olympics come around. He had to pull out of NHK Trophy after an injury and he's been out of competitions ever since... I'm glad that he's still part of the JP team for the Olympics though, since he had to skip Nationals as well. Get better soon, Yuzu! Ganbare!
Well this post has been completely all over the place (my DW has issues sometimes and doesn't let me make posts on some of my computers - I'm using the Quick Update feature to even type this up), but HAPPY NEW YEAR!
